Our Workday partner is looking for a Workday Time Tracking and Absence Senior Associate to join their consulting team. This is a client facing role for someone with strong Time and Absence experience who is not yet Workday certified and wants to complete certifications while building consulting delivery skills. Payroll exposure from the client side is a plus.

Role summary

  • Focus on Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management delivery and support
  • Gather requirements with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders
  • Support configuration, testing, and user adoption activities
  • Support reporting and integrations requirements linked to Time and Absence

Key responsibilities

  • Document Time Tracking and Absence requirements and end to end impacts
  • Support configuration of Workday Time and Absence and related business processes
  • Support testing (scripts, execution, defect triage, configuration fixes)
  • Deliver workshops, training, and knowledge transfer to HR and super users
  • Support functional documentation for reports and integrations tied to Time and Absence

Required experience and skills

  • Experience in HRIS, HCM, or Workforce Management, focused on time, attendance, or absence
  • Workday Time Tracking and Absence experience
  • Experience supporting implementations or post go live support
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Motivated to complete Workday certifications (partner supported)

Nice to have

  • Client side payroll exposure (time to payroll validation, pay rules, audits)
  • Reporting exposure (UAT support, validations, basic specs)
  • Integrations exposure (requirements support, file based interfaces)

Work model and compensation

  • Hybrid (set by hiring team and client needs)
  • Base salary up to $100,000 CAD
