<p>New Value Solutions is a national IT consulting company and we are searching for a IT Management Consultant. Previous experience as a Chief Information Office, Vice President or Director is required. The ideal candidate will bring executive-level leadership to help shape and implement IT strategies that enhance public service delivery, operational efficiency, data governance, and cybersecurity.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a contract, part time role. Experience with public sector organizations is preferred. </p><p><br></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>Strategic IT Planning:</b> Develop and lead the municipalitys IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals, departmental needs, and budget constraints.</li><li><b>Technology Modernization:</b> Evaluate and recommend upgrades to legacy systems and infrastructure, including ERP, permitting, GIS, and public safety platforms.</li><li><b>Cybersecurity Leadership:</b> Oversee cybersecurity posture and policy implementation; assess risks and lead incident response preparedness.</li><li><b>Data Governance & Compliance:</b> Ensure data management policies comply with relevant laws and best practices, including records retention and open data mandates.</li><li><b>Stakeholder Engagement:</b> Collaborate with executives, and department heads to align IT initiatives with corporate needs.</li><li><b>Vendor & Contract Oversight:</b> Manage IT vendors and service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness, performance, and accountability.</li><li><b>Digital Transformation:</b> Promote customer/citizen centric services .</li><li><b>IT Budget Management:</b> Provide guidance on IT budgeting, cost optimization, and capital planning.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We thank all candidates in advance, but only those candidates that are shortlisted will be contacted.</p>
