Description
Worley seeks a Principal Civil Designer in various Canadian locations to lead civil earthwork design. Utilize your experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare critical design drawings and models.<br/><br/>In this full-time role, youll oversee the preparation of civil design drawings for earthwork projects, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans. You will also mentor junior designers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and perform field checks as necessary. Your role is vital in ensuring proper civil design implementation across multiple projects, emphasizing effective communication and leadership skills.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare civil earthwork design drawings and 3D models
• Supervise and mentor junior designers in their tasks
• Coordinate with engineering teams for design integration
• Conduct site visits for field checks as required
• Provide technical support and prepare material take-offs<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Extensive EPC/design experience, especially in mining
