About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice-President, Audit and Evaluation to join their team. The successful candidate will be an executive leader responsible for the design, development, and delivery of a risk-based approach to the company’s audit and program evaluation functions. This role is pivotal in providing independent and objective assurance and advisory services, with a focus on the effectiveness, adequacy, and sustainability of governance, risk management, and control processes. The Vice-President will also be tasked with strategic planning, managing audit and evaluation activities, and ensuring alignment with the company’s risk governance model and policy objectives.
Applicants for the Vice-President, Audit and Evaluation position at the company should have an undergraduate degree in a related field, a CPA or CIA designation, and a minimum of 13 years’ of relevant experience, including at least 5 years’ in a senior leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in developing and executing risk-based audit plans, as well as strong consultation, issue resolution, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the company’s mandate, business objectives, and regulatory framework, and be adept at building and sustaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Advanced communication skills in both French and English, superior analytical abilities, and a demonstrated capacity to lead a team and drive change are essential for this position.
