THE POSITION

As the Sales Director/Account Executive, you will be selling managed programmatic advertising campaigns to agencies and/or direct clients focused in the United States. You will be responsible for prospecting new business relationships and leveraging your existing network.

Compensation : $80k-$90K CAD base with a 4% etc

THE LOCATION

This is currently a remote position located anywhere in the Canada

THE PRODUCT/SERVICE

Managed programmatic advertising services.

PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS

The ideal candidate has a strong network of smaller, independent agencies (i.e., tier 2/3 agencies), and/or small-to-medium-sized direct clients throughout North America. They are building a BDR team so that this person can get internal leads.

TYPICAL DAY and DUTIES

Presenting/closing – 40%

Prospecting/lead generation – 25%

Cold calling – 15%

Following up on supplied leads – 5%

Account management – 15%

TERRITORY and OVERNIGHT TRAVEL

-Located in Canada – but selling into the US primarily

-Less than 15% travel expected

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

-We do not increase quota when someone is having a great year, for the entire year (we continue to reward sellers that produce, unlike large corporations)

-We do not simply take what a seller delivered in the previous year and add, say, 30% to it when setting next year’s quota (this is a two-way discussion as we want our sellers to remain motivated and never feel penalized for being successful previously)

-No VCs or angel investors involved; we are cashflow positive

-A laptop is provided

-Monthly cell phone expenses are covered

-Approved travel and client expenses are covered
