The Feldman Agency (TFA) is one of Canada’s leading live entertainment and talent booking agencies, representing artists across music and comedy. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Administrator to join our finance team.
About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounts & Payroll Administrator to support payroll processing, live performance settlements, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on, in-office role working closely with the Head of Finance, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment within the live entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration — Full ownership of payroll processing, remittances, and related compliance (upon completion of training)
- Live Performance Settlements — Budgeting, income tracking, expense classification, and weekly financial summary updates for live performance projects
- Artist Show Settlements — Preparing and entering show-wise settlement data
- Data Entry & Journal Posting — Accurate transaction input, coding, and posting
- Support to Head of Finance — Assistance with tax, reconciliations, and documentation
- File & Records Management — Maintaining organized records for reporting and audit support
- Bank Updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 — Entry and reconciliation of bank transactions
- Vendor Invoice Management — Entry, tracking, and project classification of vendor invoices
- Monthly HST Summary — Preparation of monthly HST summaries in compliance with CRA requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance support role
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel
- Experience with Ceridian (payroll) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 an asset
- Familiarity with payroll processing and CRA remittance requirements (HST/GST)
- TM1 experience an asset
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience in entertainment, live events, or a project-based industry is a plus
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business
What We Offer
- $60,000–$65,000 CAD annually
