Description

Position Overview: Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team under our Payroll/HCM Practice for an ADP WFN SME / Project Manager who can support Client-side Project Management, data validation, and dual maintenance during the implementation.

Project Management

  • Provide general subject matter expertise, including assistance with defining and documenting test strategy and planning of WFN.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor Client-assigned tasks and deliverables as defined within ADP’s implementation project plan.
  • Identify risks; develop and manage risk mitigation plans in conjunction with Client team and the ADP implementation project manager.
  • Recommend tactical decisions that align with Client’s overall objectives.
  • Provide status reports and coordinate with the ADP implementation project manager and Client on overall status assessment.
  • Assigned personnel will facilitate decisions, but Client is responsible for making final decisions and providing approval/sign-off on business requirements, data validation, test results, or quality gates.

Business Analysis

  • Review Client structure and human resource operations processes.
  • Gather and analyze current process documentation for each cross-functional area including human resources, accounting, payroll, benefits, and time & attendance.
  • Participate in Payroll Analysis with Client and ADP Implementation team

Data Analysis

  • Gather required data and forward files to the ADP implementation team.
  • Assist with completion of data mapping documents.
  • Assist with creation of Client validation strategy.
  • Support Client in executing masterfile data validation once data has been loaded into WFN.
  • Perform dual maintenance activities; enter updates related to new hires, terminations, rate changes, job changes, deduction changes, etc. manually into WFN.
  • Lead payroll testing efforts with Client participation.

WFN Feature/Module Support

  • Assist Client with optimal setup of WFN Onboarding functionality.
  • Assist optimal design of Workflows and Hierarchy setup for system functionality
  • Assist with Client-side responsibilities in Essential Time, like assigning policies and schedules.
  • Assist Client with all in-scope HR, Benefits, and Talent modules purchased.

Technical Interfaces

  • Connect with Client vendors to understand data requirements.
  • Support specification validation for interface set-up.
  • Support Client in testing custom interface development.
  • Facilitate specification and production approval by Client.

Custom Reporting

  • Document Client custom reporting needs.
  • Review standard reporting with Client.
  • Assist Client with completion of custom reporting specifications and test developed custom reports.

Training

  • Provide supplemental training within WFN Payroll, HR functionality, Essential Time and Reporting
  • for Client contacts.

Transition to Services

Requirements:

Consultant located in Canada

Preferences:

Experience with WFN implementations

Duration: These projects have varying durations of approximately 12 weeks

Level of Effort: Part-time or Full-Time hours depending on the project requirements and timeline

Working Hours: Client is located in Eastern Time Zone
