AI Platform Engineer – Quality IT Resourcing

Job Title: AI Platform Engineer

Job type: Contract

Duration: 6 months (extension possibilities)

Location: Toronto (hybrid 2-3 days/week)

Core Requirements

• Full-stack or systems engineering experience with production-grade applications

• Practical experience with AI/LLM integration (e.g., APIs, tooling, workflows)

• Experience designing and implementing deployment architectures in cloud or controlled environments (e.g., VPCs, on-prem)

• Hands-on experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, and environment management

• Experience codifying and implementing SOPs or automated deployment/operations processes

Past Experience

• Deploying and operating applications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation)

• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Building or contributing to observability, monitoring, logging, or incident response tooling • Delivering solutions in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, public sector)

• Hands-on development experience integrating AI/LLMs into production systems or delivery workflows
