Position Overview

The Comox Valley Anesthesia Group is seeking locum anesthesiologists for flexible coverage opportunities between July 1 and September 30, 2027. Physicians may select from a variety of available dates and are not required to commit to the entire coverage period. Locum assignments ranging from one week to several weeks are welcomed.

This opportunity offers a broad community anesthesia practice with exposure to Orthopedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Pediatric Anesthesia for patients aged 2 years and older. Join a collegial team of 11 full‑time and part‑time anesthesiologists at a modern regional referral hospital serving the Comox Valley and North Vancouver Island.

Flexible scheduling, including part‑time opportunities, is available, making this an excellent option for physicians seeking short‑term or extended locum assignments in a supportive practice environment.
