Position Overview
Architecttura is seeking an Architectural Designer – BIM and 3D Visualization Specialist to join our Windsor office. This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled professional with a strong focus on design visualization and BIM-based project delivery.
The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of projects, primarily during the concept and schematic design phases, producing high-quality renderings and drawing packages while collaborating closely with project teams.
This position will lead to progressively increasing responsibilities with the capacity to work on multiple projects as part of the growth plans of the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models for a variety of project types
- Produce interior and exterior architectural renderings for concept and schematic design phases
- Collaborate with project teams to support design development and visualization efforts
- Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and design reviews
- Work within a BIM environment to develop and coordinate project documentation
- Participate in all phases of project development as required
- Conduct site visits and assist with field reviews and reporting
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work in alignment with project timelines and budgets
- Support continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment
- Strong capabilities in 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp and Lumion
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of architectural drawing production and coordination
- Knowledge of building science, construction detailing, and rendering techniques
- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and applicable standards
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience in Canada
- Demonstrated experience in BIM/Revit, 3D visualization, and space planning
- Experience across commercial, institutional, and residential projects
- General understanding of all project phases and documentation processes
- Field experience conducting site reviews and preparing reports is considered an asset

Location: This is an on-site position in Windsor, Ontario
Travel: Job sites ~ 15% of time
