Salary: Based on experience About you To succeed in this role, you’ll need: 2-5+ years of experience as a Lawyer with experience in employment and labour law Bilingualism in English and French to practise law is required (written, oral, comprehension) LL.B or J.D. with excellent grades. Member in good standing of the Ontario Bar Knowledge of civil litigation, education, and constitutional law Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn the business side of law About the role If hired, you will: Advises clients on employment standards, contracts, human rights, workplace policies, and HR strategies Counsels school boards on education law, language rights, safety, and student disciplinary actions Represents school boards on constitutional matters, especially Section 23 of the Canadian Charter Represents clients in collective bargaining, mediation, arbitration, and civil litigation Appears before tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal and Ontario Labour Relations Board Drafts legal opinions, briefs, pleadings, policies, and other legal documents Conducts research and analyzes documents and case law for legal matters Perks & Benefits Hybrid Work Model Comprehensive health benefits (medical) RRSP Matching Generous PTO (paid time off) Annual Wellness Allowance Professional Development Reimbursement Free Parking Applied to this job already?
