The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IPO process and the regulatory requirements associated with public offerings. Responsibilities will include guiding clients through the intricacies of preparing for an IPO, developing strategies for successful market entry, and providing expert advice on financial structuring, compliance, and governance. The consultant will work closely with clients to ensure a seamless transition to a publicly traded company, leveraging their expertise to maximize value and position the company for long-term success. To qualify for the position, you must have : Legally eligible to work in Canada. Must be fluent in English and Korean MBA or Master’s in a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in the position. Must have a deep understanding of the business management support role. Excellent communication and documentation skills Knowledge And Skills : Deep Understanding of Financial Markets: Knowledge of how stock markets operate, including the regulatory environment, trading mechanisms, and investor behavior. IPO Process Expertise: Familiarity with the end-to-end IPO process, including regulatory requirements, due diligence, underwriting, and listing procedures. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of securities laws and regulations governing public offerings, such as the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 in the United States, or equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions. Financial Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze financial statements, assess company valuations, and develop financial models to support pricing and structuring decisions. Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop and advise on strategic decisions related to the timing, pricing, and marketing of the IPO. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and stakeholders to ensure the IPO process is executed smoothly and efficiently. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, investors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. Due Diligence Expertise: Experience in conducting thorough due diligence to identify and mitigate risks associated with the IPO. Task IPO consulting responsibilities : IPO Strategy Development: Advising clients on the overall strategy for going public, including timing, valuation, and market positioning. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, including compliance with securities laws and regulations set by financial authorities or other relevant bodies in different jurisdictions. Financial Analysis and Structuring: Conducting financial analysis and advising on the optimal capital structure for the IPO, including pricing strategies and share allocation. Due Diligence: Overseeing the due diligence process to ensure that all financial, legal, and operational aspects of the company are thoroughly reviewed and accurately presented in the IPO prospectus. Documentation and Filing: Assisting in the preparation and filing of the IPO prospectus and other required documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Investor Relations: Developing and implementing an investor relations strategy to effectively communicate with potential investors, analysts, and media. Market Research: Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and investor sentiment to position the IPO effectively. Roadshow Planning: Coordinating and planning the roadshow to market the IPO to potential investors, including scheduling meetings and presentations.
