Job Title – Senior BSA – Snyk
Location – Remote (Canada)
Role Type – Contract (6 months with potential extension)
Must Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Snyk, Veracode, or comparable application security scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of application security concepts and security tooling within software development environments.
- Experience supporting security tool migrations and coordinating successful onboarding of development teams.
- Excellent technical communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience troubleshooting migration issues and driving adoption of new security platforms.
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Support the migration of application security scanning from Veracode to Snyk.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure successful onboarding to the Snyk platform.
- Assess existing Veracode configurations and map them to equivalent Snyk implementations.
- Provide guidance and training to development teams on Snyk best practices and usage.
- Track migration progress, onboarding status, and key project metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related technical issues.
- Develop and maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and configuration guides.
- Communicate migration status, risks, and progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
- Maintain accurate documentation of team-specific configurations and migration activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in migration processes and security tool adoption.
