Take the lead as a CNC Process Improvement Engineer at a Tier 1 automotive supplier in Cambridge, ON. Focus on optimizing machining and assembly operations for quality and efficiency.<br/><br/>In this role, you will spearhead process improvement projects and manage related CAPEX initiatives. Your expertise will help identify inefficiencies and introduce data-driven corrective measures across manufacturing processes. Collaboration with production and quality teams will be key to ensuring compliance with automotive standards.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance first-pass yield
• Identify and address process inefficiencies using analytical tools
• Oversee CAPEX project lifecycle from planning to commissioning
• Optimize tooling and manufacturing work instructions
• Implement 5S and visual control systems in the shop<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• 3-7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Proven track record in process improvement and CAPEX project execution
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
