Step into a rewarding position with Elk Island Public Schools as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Provide essential support to students dealing with speech and language disorders.<br/><br/>The role is located within the Support for Students department and is set to commence on August 27, 2026. You will assist Speech Language Pathologists in delivering tailored speech and language support, contributing to student success in various environments. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are necessary for this role.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Implement SLP plans for student support and assessment
• Develop and create therapy materials for sessions
• Maintain organized therapy spaces and manage resources
• Track student progress and report outcomes to SLP
• Promote a positive and collaborative therapy environment<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Therapy Assistant Diploma preferred, or equivalent
• Experience or interest in assistive technology
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional growth
