We’re seeking passionate individuals with knowledge of Event Planning, Sport Management, Health and Wellness, or a related field who want to gain valuable experience in sports event coordination, community engagement, and nonprofit initiatives. You’re a self-starter—motivated, reliable, and organized—with strong communication skills and a work ethic that balances focus and fun.

**This role is located in South Calgary and is required on-site daily**

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of materials needed for sporting events, including but not limited to the prize lists, start lists, and officials documentation.
  • Receive and process event entries including data entry, payment, verification of memberships and other documentation.
  • Communicating with relevant parties regarding entries, rules, and logistics.
  • Aid in the event check-in and daily needs of competitors.
  • Post-event reporting to the governing bodies, including results submission.
  • Processing final billing for competitors.
  • Archive event records.
  • Front desk reception (answering our phone lines and directing calls, filing, administrative work).
  • Ensuring the company’s standard is maintained in respect to all aspects of the tournament operations. This includes but is not limited to customer service, supplies, equipment, building conditions, overall cleanliness.
  • Ensuring accounting procedures are followed when executing all accounting processes.
  • Responsible for executing professional and effective communication during all communication processes.
  • Assisting in other departments as required.
  • Note: This role requires flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments—sometimes in unpredictable weather.
