Expand your expertise as an Academic Thrombosis Specialist at McMaster University, Ontario. This full-time faculty position balances patient care with active teaching and research roles. You will engage in clinical activities while also providing consultative thrombosis care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your contributions to curriculum development, student mentorship, and research will be key in this impactful role. Candidates with fellowship training focusing on venous and arterial thromboembolism, especially cardiac thromboembolism, are especially encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct clinical patient care activities, approximately 30% of total time • Provide consultative services for thrombosis patients • Engage in curriculum development and student mentorship • Contribute to scholarly research in thrombosis medicine • Participate in educational activities across the division Requirements: • Certified or eligible by the Royal College of Physicians • Licensed or eligible for licensing in Ontario • Fellowship training in Adult Thrombosis Medicine preferred • Advanced training in Health Research Methodology a plus • Comply with vaccination and health measures Join McMaster University and help shape the future of thrombosis medicine through education and research.
