<p><b>Work Location:</b> On site – Melita Health Centre (147 Summit Ave, Melita, MB R0M 1L0). There is no option to work remotely.</p>

<h3>Position Summary</h3>
<p>Melita Health Centre is a 10 bed acute care and a 20 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Home Care, Public Health, and Mental Health.</p>
<p>Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Melita Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health.</p>
<h3>Credentials</h3>
<ul>
<li>The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree</li>
<li>Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba</li>
<li>Must be a member of CMPA or provide proof of equivalent malpractice insurance</li>
<li>Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums</li>
<li>Good work and attendance record</li>
</ul>
<h3>Security and Safety</h3>

<li>Complete and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate.</li>
<li>All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Prairie Mountain Health policy.</li>
