Aafiyat Medical Centre is a growing patient-centered medical group with clinic locations in Mississauga, Brampton, and Kitchener. Our mission is to improve access to quality healthcare by bringing family medicine, walk-in care, specialist services, allied health, diagnostics, pharmacy, and administrative support together in a coordinated healthcare environment. AMC currently serves a large and growing patient population and is expanding its physician team across multiple locations. We are looking for Family Physicians who value clinical independence, strong administrative support, patient access, and long-term practice growth. We welcome physicians already practicing in Ontario, physicians relocating within Canada, and internationally trained physicians who are eligible or working toward licensure in Ontario. LMIA-supported positions are available for eligible Family Physicians.
Role Description
Aafiyat Medical Centre is recruiting Family Physicians to join our clinics in Mississauga, Brampton, and Kitchener. This is an on-site clinical role with opportunities for full-time or part-time practice, depending on physician availability and clinic needs. The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care and walk-in medical services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include assessing and managing acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive care, supporting continuity of care, and coordinating with specialists and allied health professionals where appropriate. The physician will be supported by AMC’s administrative and clinical operations team, with access to established patient flow, EMR systems, referral support, and a growing multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine and walk-in care services
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide preventive care, screening, counselling, and follow-up
- Support rostered and non-rostered patient care where applicable
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Coordinate care with specialists, allied health providers, and community resources
- Follow CPSO, CMPA, privacy, and professional standards
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered clinic environment
Qualifications
- Eligible for independent practice as a Family Physician in Ontario
- CPSO registration or active pathway toward CPSO eligibility
- CMPA or equivalent professional liability coverage
- Strong clinical knowledge in primary care, urgent care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, team-based clinic setting
- Interest in building a long-term practice is an asset
- Internationally trained physicians with a clear pathway to Ontario licensure are welcome to connect
