FutureLife Agricultural Products Ltd. was founded in 2016. We grow top-quality blueberry and fresh fruits such as apples, cherries, pears, peaches, watermelon, and also vegetables, etc. We are one of the largest producers of high-bush blueberries in Surrey, BC. Fresh blueberries are sold to Westberry farm and some packaged berries are exported to China. To better serve the local community, we are increasing our production through greenhouse farming. With our business expansion, we are seeking four Farm & Greenhouse Workers to join our company.
Full-time Permanent position
Main Duties:
1. Plant, cultivate, tend, pick and collect fruits and vegetables
2. Follow safety protocols while working on the farm and greenhouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
3. Assist with soil preparation, install trellis, irrigation, and drainage system in the greenhouse.
4. Operate farm equipment such as pruning shears, clippers, and bins.
5. Monitor plants health, identifying any signs of disease, pests, or stress.
6. Monitor and control weeds
7. Sort, weigh and pack fruits and vegetables
8. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
9. Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
10. Perform other tasks including plant bulbs and seeds,
