Description
Lead the Gas Operations team at Utilities Kingston, ensuring safe and compliant gas distribution. This supervisory role focuses on project management, emergency response, and team training.<br/><br/>As the Gas Operations Supervisor, you will coordinate daily activities for the Gas Operations group and supervise compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will oversee asset maintenance, direct field inspections, and ensure the integrity of gas systems during repairs. Your leadership will foster a compliant and efficient work environment while managing budgets and resources effectively.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise inspections and maintenance of gas assets
• Ensure system integrity during repairs and emergencies
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance standards
• Identify training and competency needs for staff
• Participate in hazard investigations and corrective actions<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Gas Technician 1 or 2 certification
• 3-5 years experience in gas or utilities industry
• Strong knowledge of CSA standards and safety regulations
• Post-secondary education in a technical field preferred
• Valid Class G driver’s license<br/><br/>Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance as you guide the Gas Operations team at Utilities Kingston.
