The candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. He or she will be a key member of both the sales team and the hotel’s administrative team.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the kitchen and the banquet team. Solicit, develop, and grow key accounts and clients in your markets to generate additional business opportunities for the hotel.
- Oversee the sales, coordination, and smooth execution of meetings and events.
- Work closely with clients to help them plan their events and group bookings, offering suggestions to ensure their expectations are met.
- Be present during key moments of client visits while checking the facilities in advance as needed.
- Maximize revenue across all hotel departments.
- Provide personalized follow-up after the event concludes.
- Schedule visits with potential clients to showcase the hotel’s facilities.
- Provide excellent support to in-house clients throughout the sales process to ensure an optimal experience.
- Conduct market and prospect research to meet sales targets for your assigned market.
- Identify the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and location requirements.
- Evaluate requests and establish prices, credit terms, guarantees, and delivery dates in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
- Prepare proposals and sales agreements according to the hotel’s deadlines.
- Develop and maintain client and business relationships, as well as partnerships, for your market.
- Increase referral opportunities with Atlific and Marriott hotels.
- Share relevant information about hotel groups with key departments.
- Perform any other related tasks to ensure the department’s service quality.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales representative in a hotel, preferably in Quebec.
- Training in food and beverage or equivalent experience to provide recommendations on menus, themes, and setups to optimize the guest experience and the hotel’s potential.
- In-depth knowledge of the primary hotel market, the surrounding area, and local resources.
- A university degree in business administration, marketing, hotel management, or a related field is a plus.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
- Strong skills in sales, customer relations, negotiation, presentation, and business writing.
- Ability to travel and adjust to clients’ schedules; available on weekends and evenings.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
