About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Product to play a pivotal role in the evolution of its open-source framework into a scalable, enterprise-grade product. The successful candidate will be the first true product leader, responsible for owning the product function from strategy to lifecycle across a complex, technical platform. This includes leading a product team, driving the transition from free to paid offerings, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready solutions. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in product transitions, a strong background in deep tech or technical/scientific products, and experience in building and scaling product organizations.
Applicants for the Head of Product position at the company should have a background in deep tech, developer tools, or technical/scientific products, with a focus on 0 to 1 product strategy and scaling product teams. Experience in managing product teams and a comfort level in highly technical, research-driven environments are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience with open-source products or communities, a background in data infrastructure, MLOps, or scientific SaaS, and a customer-facing experience with enterprise or R&D buyers. The role is suited to a leader with a founder or GM-style experience, who can shape the product’s positioning, packaging, and overall direction, and is ready to take on the challenge of guiding the company through this significant transition.
