You have a successful career in labor relations, performance evaluation, and change management that supports your candidacy.<br/><br/>Our Benefits<br/><br/>Competitive compensation including a defined benefit pension plan, comprehensive group insurance, and virtual health care services.<br/><br/>Annual performance bonus.<br/><br/>Hybrid work model combining flexibility and collaboration.<br/><br/>Flexible schedule of 37.5 hours per week.<br/><br/>Generous paid leave supporting a healthy work-life balance.<br/><br/>Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).<br/><br/>Professional development, wellness programs, and much more!<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/><br/>Serve as an advisor to managers by offering guidance and recommendations on all issues related to human resources management and labor relations.<br/><br/>Interpret and ensure the consistent application of human resources policies, programs, collective bargaining agreements, laws, and practices.<br/><br/>Support managers in managing the employee lifecycle, including staffing, performance management, talent development, labor relations, attendance, and other employee-related issues.<br/><br/>Collaborate with HR centers of expertise and internal partners to implement human resources strategies, programs, and initiatives.<br/><br/>Build trusting relationships with managers, employees, and union representatives to foster a positive work environment and support the achievement of organizational objectives.<br/><br/>Promote consistent, fair, and compliant management practices, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and the evolution of human resources practices.<br/><br/>Perform any other related duties consistent with the nature of the job.<br/><br/>Your profile<br/><br/>Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Labor Relations.<br/><br/>At least five (5) years of human resources experience as an advisor supporting front-line supervisors, managers, and employees in a unionized environment.<br/><br/>Practical knowledge of various human resources disciplines in a unionized environment, including labor relations, disability and performance management, and disciplinary measures, as well as knowledge of federal and provincial labor law.<br/><br/>Member in good standing of a professional human resources association in Quebec or Ontario (CRHA/CRIA or CHRP).<br/><br/>Proficient in English, both spoken and written.<br/><br/>The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is committed to diversity by encouraging an inclusive and equitable recruitment and work environment.
