About the Opportunity

Infinite Outsourcing Solutions is hiring a Human Resources Generalist on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing organization based in Oakville, Ontario. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, HR operations, and workforce support.

The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to manufacturing leaders and employees, supporting day-to-day HR functions while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Act as the primary HR contact for manufacturing employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support payroll administration, time and attendance inquiries, and workforce reporting.
  • Generate HR reports, metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with performance reviews, compensation updates, and workforce planning.
  • Support employee benefits administration and HRIS management.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operational positions.
  • Conduct resume screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and background checks.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and interview processes.
  • Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and training completion for new hires.

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance on attendance management, performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Support conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
  • Draft employee relations documentation and maintain confidentiality.

Compliance & Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation, including ESA, OHSA, AODA, and Human Rights requirements.
  • Support workplace investigations, WSIB administration, return-to-work programs, and safety initiatives.
  • Track mandatory training requirements and compliance activities.
  • Participate in health and safety meetings and audits.

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Support HR process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance programs.

Qualifications

Required

  • CHRP designation.
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Experience supporting employees and managers in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including ESA, OHSA, AODA, and Human Rights Code.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication, employee relations, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting health and safety programs and WSIB processes.
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
