Role Description

The Integration Lead is responsible for architecting and implementing integrations

between customers, B2B partners, and internal applications leveraging the Boomi Integration

platform. He/She will also lead code and design reviews, as well as mentor integration

developers.

We are looking for a strong critical thinker who makes objective and insightful decisions in vital

situations and is equally mindful of the company and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for the Boomi platform, including development of new integrations, connections, leveraging APIs, and assist with architecture, configurations, including Atom Management.
  • Lead projects from inception to release, mentoring integration staff, and helping business leaders shape desired outcomes.
  • Provide estimates for design, build, peer reviews, test, and implementation phases, ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained.
  • Work with the team (Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and other Leads) to ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
  • Responsible for establishing best practices in services development, integration of applications, and govern detailed designs.
  • Responsible for delivering technical design/implementation/support documentation.
  • Manages (monitors and addresses) all development activity and is accountable for ensuring quality and adherence to technical, security, and compliance standards.
  • Involves coordinating and driving offshore calls to ensure the delivery timelines are met.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews.
  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership on status and impediments as they arise.
  • Develop, present, and deliver high-impact demonstrations and prototypes of Boomi solutions for stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Background in computer science/data engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in Integration technologies and implementation experience of Boomi iPaaS with any major cloud-based platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with Boomi runtimes, including clusters and clouds(JVM, forked execution, single and multitenant, clustering)
  • Hands-on experience with XML/XSL, JSON, and Web Services (SOAP, REST, GraphQL) is required.
  • Hands-on experience in system architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks, and patterns.
  • Exceptional analytical, business process development, and problem-solving skills to partner with technology and business to resolve issues, prioritize, and deliver customer value.
  • Must foster a sense of community by recognizing and valuing the unique contributions of the team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Boomi certifications (Integration, Architecture, DataHub, Flow, APIM)
  • Experience with GCP and other cloud hosting providers (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with Master Data Management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and messaging.
  • Strong experience developing and consuming Web API/Services (JSON/XML) to develop real-time integrations with internal/external systems.
