Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum required years of experience: 2+ YEO in inventory planning or data analysis for merchandizing
  • Education requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experience

Must have skills:

  • Experience processing data entry, working with large data sets, managing and updating data systems Updating PO’s, product SKU’s, retail math
  • Can troubleshoot data, know when something doesn’t look right, data integrity, can recommend processes to make things smoother

Nice to have skills:

  • Comfortable with Excel, intermediate level
  • Retail experience, coming from a fast-paced environment, exciting to learn, proactive

Software/technical requirements:

  • SAP, Retail Pro (Nice to Have)

Who Are We Looking For:

  • We’re looking for an individual to support our Allocation Planning team, and work in partnership with Allocation, strategically moving inventory from our distribution centers to stores nationwide.
  • The role of Allocation Planner makes clients’ assortment of innovative products come to life in our stores by positioning our inventory to efficiently fulfill consumer demand.
  • The candidate needs to be curious, have a tolerance for ambiguity and possess the ability to work both collaboratively & independently, while combining that with a working knowledge of retail math and the ability to utilize data analysis to help drive decision making.
  • Continuous improvement and change are required to be successful and adapt to the changing requirements of our consumers and business.
  • The candidate should possess solid retail acumen and analytical skills, and an understanding of retail environments and bring a consumerist perspective to the team and business.

What Will You Work On

  • You’ll work with the DC and MPO teams to upload POs and ensure the DC has visibility to them
  • You’ll gain the knowledge of systems and the ability to troubleshoot (SAP, MMX, Krunch, Retail Pro, Generator)
  • You will support the day-to-day operations of the Allocation Team, ensuring allocations are uploaded and communicated to the DC team.
  • You will ensure that PO quantities in Retail Pro align with SAP after MPO posts orders (Daily)
  • You will support, on an as needed basis, forecasting and reacting to business performance and stock levels to determine replenishment quantities
  • You will support the Allocation Team & Planning Teams, on an as needed basis, by updating reporting and troubleshooting if issues arrive with data integrity.
  • You may be required to support the allocation of product, determining ideal inventory on hand quantities by store/service hub for each style/color, in accordance with the business plans.
  • You will support NFS store teams with any inventory discrepancies through Retail Pro
  • Drive functional expertise in Allocation Planning by collaborating with technology, process, and other
  • Allocation Planning team mates to improve how we work

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business, Math or Economics, or additional 2 years’ experience in lieu of degree is an asset
  • A good understanding and comfort within Excel and other computer-based systems, and an aptitude to learn quickly and more!
  • Strong administrative skills and great multitasking skills
  • Strong analytic & problem-solving skills, and comfort working in ambiguity
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with much communication coming through Slack, Email and Zoom
  • Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT and others
