Description
Company Overview
Join GURUS Solutions, North America’s leading 5-Star NetSuite Partner. For over 15 years, we have been bringing businesses to the cloud by guiding them through complex ERP transformations. We don’t just implement software; we scale businesses. We are looking for an energetic, curious, and tech-passionate Junior Consultant to join our Montreal delivery team and grow alongside industry experts.
Role Overview & Mindset
As a Junior Consultant, you are the bridge between technical capability and business reality. You are naturally curious, honest, and thrive in customer-facing environments. You have an analytical mind but an approachable, communicative personality—you enjoy talking to clients, mapping their realities, and guiding them through change with patience and simplified communication.
We are specifically looking for a self-starter who doesn’t just execute tasks but actively strives to leave a lasting positive impact on projects. You must be deeply curious, focused on understanding the “why” behind a business process rather than just the “what.” Success in this role requires a high degree of coachability—we value individuals who embrace critical feedback, lean into self-improvement, and actively collaborate as an engaged team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Scoping: Assist in gathering client requirements, mapping business processes, and documenting complex workflows.
- Configuration & Functional Design: Learn to configure the NetSuite platform, mapping client requirements to standard system capabilities.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to ensure systems and workflows function perfectly before launch.
- Go-Live Support: Provide crucial, hands-on, and resilient support during high-stakes client deployment phases.
- Client Enablement: Conduct user training sessions and author technical documentation, translating complex system features into simple, actionable steps for end-users.
Requirements & Qualifications
- NetSuite Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical, hands-on experience with NetSuite (Administration or Functional Analysis).
- Core Workflows: Strong baseline understanding of core NetSuite transactional cycles, specifically Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Finance/Accounting Background: A university degree or strong foundational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems (MIS). You must understand core corporate accounting principles (General Ledger, AP, AR).
- Communication: Flawless verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (essential for handling our bilingual North American client base).
- Mobility: Open to occasional travel to client sites across Canada and the USA.
Nice-to-Haves (Major Assets):
- Specialized NetSuite Module Knowledge: Hands-on exposure to advanced or specialized NetSuite modules beyond core transactions, such as SuiteBilling, WMS (Warehouse Management System), Advanced Inventory, or Manufacturing.
Logistics & Culture Fit
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week).
- Hybrid Model: 3 days/week in-office at our Montreal office (near Sauvé metro station).
- Environments built on mutual trust, strategic feedback, and continuous learning.
