Job Title: (Junior) PTC Windchill Consultant

Location: Remote (Canada)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Travel: Up to 10% (as needed)

Working Hours: US Business Hours (Central or Mountain Time Zones preferred)

Overview

We are seeking a (Junior) PTC Windchill Consultant/ PTC Windchill Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support, system administration, and business analysis for our enterprise cloud PLM (Windchill+) systems. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for system issues, user support, and business requirement analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong PLM knowledge, technical troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication abilities to bridge technical teams and business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support:

Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Windchill systems

Manage support ticket queue and prioritize issues based on business impact

Document support processes, known issues, and resolutions

Collaborate with development teams for code-level interventions

Ensure timely resolution of critical issues across multiple time zones

• System Administration:

Manage user access control, license assignment, and role configuration

Configure classification systems, attributes, and type hierarchies

Maintain data integrity through Master Data Management (MDM) processes

• User Enablement:

Conduct training sessions and create user guides/tutorials

Provide one-on-one coaching for power users and new employees

Gather feedback to improve system functionality and user experience

• Business Analysis (Preferred):

Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements

Translate user needs into functional specifications

Perform gap analysis and validate implemented solutions

Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with enterprise application support, access management, and license administration

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Ability to work during US business hours (Central/Mountain time zones)

Preferred: Experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis
