Job Type: Contract (1-year, possible extension)

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week (Ideal is 4 days/week but flexible) – Downtown Toronto, ON

Pay Rate – $50/hr – $75/hr

Our client, a very well-known Retail company hiring a Manager, Digital Loyalty Analytics for a contract opportunity.

Your New Role:

As Manager – Digital Loyalty Analytics, you will drive customer retention, acquisition, and engagement by leading the advanced analytics techniques, including AI and machine learning, to develop statistical analyses, derive actionable insights, and deliver accurate reporting from customer data. You’ll work collaboratively, leveraging your experience in analytics, machine learning/AI, and business processes to deliver the high-impact customer insights and recommendations that will grow our business. ● Support the strategy, development, execution, and measurement of data-driven product launches and customer initiatives in multiple digital channels across a variety of businesses.

● Leverage a diverse set of technical tools including AI and machine learning to derive deep and actionable insights from product, loyalty, and transactional data to inform customer growth strategies.

● Scope, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards & reports to monitor business performance and inform strategic decision-making.

● Deep dive into customer data across a large number of owned & digital channels to support and drive growth product planning.

● Develop and apply AI-driven tools to drive business outcomes.

● Automate and scale processes to improve analytical throughput leveraging AI and other advanced tools.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

● Undergraduate degree in technical discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering etc.) or related experience in a technical field.

● 3+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical role, and proven ability to work with relevant tools (BigQuery, Python/R, Snowplow/Omniture/GA, Excel etc.).

● 1+ years of experience working with digital data (raw backend event/clickstream data) to support product and customer insights.

● Material experience working with AI, machine learning, LLMs and/or agentic workflows to achieve business outcomes and derive insights.

● Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.

● Ability to generate meaningful customer insights from large volumes of complex data.

● Experience leveraging AI, LLMs and agentic workflows to develop actionable insights and automate processes

● Comfortable with data storytelling and building compelling dashboards with data visualisation tools (Looker, Looker Studio, PowerBI, Tableau or similar).

● Previous experience working with digital analytics data to understand customer journeys and derive actionable insights for business planning.

● Naturally curious, always looking for the ‘why’ and not afraid to dive deep to get answers.

● Effective communication skills, and collaborative mindset.

● Experience in retail analytics (especially loyalty) is an asset
