Lead and Develop Talent<br/><br/>Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on technology learning, enablement, and workforce development.<br/><br/>Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.<br/><br/>Support employee development through coaching, performance management, career planning, and succession planning.<br/><br/>Create opportunities for team members to expand their leadership capabilities, technical knowledge, and business impact.<br/><br/>Drive Technology Learning and Capability Development<br/><br/>Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of technology learning programs and capability development initiatives across the organization.<br/><br/>Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of learning pathways, instructor-led training, workshops, self-paced courses, and digital learning experiences.<br/><br/>Partner with technology leaders, architects, engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure content remains relevant and aligned with evolving business priorities.<br/><br/>Coordinate global learning initiatives involving instructors, content creators, technology platform teams, vendors, and stakeholders.<br/><br/>Measure learner engagement, program effectiveness, and business outcomes to continuously improve learning experiences and impact.<br/><br/>Lead Programs and Strategic Initiatives<br/><br/>Own and execute the roadmap for Manulife Universitys technology learning portfolio.<br/><br/>Lead multiple concurrent initiatives while managing priorities, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.<br/><br/>Establish governance practices, progress reporting, and performance metrics to support strategic objectives.<br/><br/>Translate organizational goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.<br/><br/>Advance AI Adoption and Innovation<br/><br/>Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences and operational effectiveness.<br/><br/>Support enterprise AI adoption through learning programs, enablement initiatives, and workforce capability development.<br/><br/>Champion innovation and continuous improvement across programs, processes, and delivery methods.<br/><br/>Stay informed on emerging technology and learning trends to help shape future capability development strategies.<br/><br/>Build Strategic Partnerships<br/><br/>Develop strong partnerships with technology leaders, architects, product teams, platform teams, and business stakeholders across the enterprise.<br/><br/>Collaborate with colleagues across North America and Asia to support global learning and workforce development initiatives.<br/><br/>Communicate effectively with senior leaders to align priorities, provide updates, and drive successful outcomes.<br/><br/>Participate in occasional meetings outside of standard North American business hours to support collaboration with global teams.<br/><br/>Required Qualifications<br/><br/>Experience leading teams within technology, learning, enablement, program management, workforce development, or related functions.<br/><br/>Demonstrated success delivering complex cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders.<br/><br/>Strong project and program management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and execution.<br/><br/>Experience partnering with technology organizations and familiarity with modern software engineering, cloud, Agile, or AI-enabled environments.<br/><br/>Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.<br/><br/>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.<br/><br/>Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.<br/><br/>Experience collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications<br/><br/>Experience designing or leading technology learning, employee enablement, or workforce development programs.<br/><br/>Familiarity with learning management systems, digital learning platforms, or content management tools.<br/><br/>Experience supporting AI adoption, Generative AI, automation, low-code/no-code platforms, or technology transformation initiatives.<br/><br/>Familiarity with Azure and enterprise technology ecosystems.<br/><br/>Experience supporting global programs across multiple regions and time zones.<br/><br/>Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, PROSCI, or similar project and change management credentials.<br/><br/>Strong analytical skills with experience using data and insights to improve program performance and learner outcomes.<br/><br/>When you join our team
