Master Planner – Aerospace Manufacturing (On‑Site)

Location: On‑site at Calgary, Alberta, CAN – Aerospace Manufacturing Facility

Contract: 6‑month contract as consultant, contract‑to‑hire

Relocation: Candidates open to relocation are welcome

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Master Planner to support a high‑volume aerospace manufacturing environment.

The role is fully on‑site and focuses on Master Production Scheduling, material and capacity planning, and cross‑functional coordination to support on‑time delivery and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and support Final Assembly Line (FAL) planning.
  • Perform material, inventory, and capacity planning in a rate‑driven manufacturing environment.
  • Identify pacing items, bottlenecks, and schedule risks, and proactively escalate issues.
  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams.
  • Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems (BOMs, routings, lead times, work orders).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, flow, and delivery performance.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing planning (OEM or Tier‑1 preferred).
  • Proven background in high‑volume / high‑rate production environments.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with MPS, MRP/ERP, capacity planning, and inventory management.
  • Solid understanding of BOM structures, routings, effectivity, and change management.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a strong asset.
  • APICS / CPIM certification is considered an asset.
