A leading healthcare communications agency is expanding its roster of Freelance Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Medical Editors for anticipated upcoming project needs. This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual medical editors with agency experience who thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated environments and have a passion for ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance across healthcare communications.

Pay: $65–$85/hr CAD
What You’ll Do
- Edit and proofread pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and style
- Review content to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Support the development of healthcare professional (HCP) and pharmaceutical marketing communications
- Verify scientific and medical claims against source references
- Maintain consistency across multiple deliverables and therapeutic areas
- Partner closely with creative, account, strategy, and medical teams throughout the content development process
What We’re Looking For
- Fully bilingual in English and French
- Experience as a Medical Editor within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical communications environment
- Strong understanding of HCP-facing and/or pharmaceutical marketing materials
- Previous advertising agency experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional proofreading, copyediting, and fact-checking skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
