A leading healthcare communications agency is expanding its roster of Freelance Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Medical Editors for anticipated upcoming project needs. This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual medical editors with agency experience who thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated environments and have a passion for ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance across healthcare communications.

Location: Remote (Canada Only)

Type: Freelance/Contract

Duration: June 15-26 (potential for extension/additional projects)

Pay: $65–$85/hr CAD

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and proofread pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and style
  • Review content to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
  • Support the development of healthcare professional (HCP) and pharmaceutical marketing communications
  • Verify scientific and medical claims against source references
  • Maintain consistency across multiple deliverables and therapeutic areas
  • Partner closely with creative, account, strategy, and medical teams throughout the content development process

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully bilingual in English and French
  • Experience as a Medical Editor within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical communications environment
  • Strong understanding of HCP-facing and/or pharmaceutical marketing materials
  • Previous advertising agency experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional proofreading, copyediting, and fact-checking skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
