Our client is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and support mobile applications that connect users to a cloud-based Industrial IoT platform. This role will be responsible for developing high-quality applications across iOS and Android platforms while collaborating with product, firmware, cloud, and QA teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable solutions.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development<br/><br/>Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.<br/><br/>Build cross-platform solutions using React Native and Flutter while supporting native development in Swift and Java/Kotlin.<br/><br/>Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistency with established design systems.<br/><br/>Translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into polished, responsive mobile experiences.<br/><br/>Apply platform-specific UI/UX best practices, including iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design standards.<br/><br/>Integration & Performance<br/><br/>Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs, authentication workflows, and data synchronization processes.<br/><br/>Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and startup times.<br/><br/>Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across mobile, cloud, and backend environments.<br/><br/>Support App Store and Google Play Store releases, deployments, and version management.<br/><br/>Quality & Testing<br/><br/>Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.<br/><br/>Participate in code reviews and promote best practices for software quality and maintainability.<br/><br/>Ensure applications meet security, reliability, and performance standards.<br/><br/>Collaboration & Product Development<br/><br/>Collaborate with product managers, firmware engineers, cloud developers, QA teams, and customer stakeholders.<br/><br/>Participate in system design and architecture discussions for cloud-native IoT solutions running on AWS.<br/><br/>Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.<br/><br/>Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and development processes.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.<br/><br/>5+ years of professional software development experience, including mobile application development.<br/><br/>Hands‑on experience developing mobile applications using React Native and/or Flutter.<br/><br/>Experience with native iOS development (Swift) and Android development (Java/Kotlin).<br/><br/>Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.<br/><br/>Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.<br/><br/>Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.<br/><br/>Familiarity with UI/UX tools such as Figma and implementing design specifications.<br/><br/>Experience managing Apple App Store and Google Play Store submission and release processes.<br/><br/>Web development experience is considered an asset.<br/><br/>Exposure to AWS cloud services and AWS certifications are considered an asset.<br/><br/>Experience in industrial manufacturing, Industrial IoT, utilities, or natural gas environments is preferred.<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
