<div><p>We are partnering with a <b>national specialty healthcare organization</b> that operates a modern pharmacy location in <b>Stoney Creek/Hamilton, ON</b>, focused on <b>patient‑centered care, compounding, and clinical pharmacy services</b>. This site is part of a broader network supporting complex medication needs across homecare and outpatient settings.</p>
<p>This is a <b>full‑time permanent </b>position offers the chance to work in a highly regulated, quality driven environment with a collaborative clinical team. In this role, you will hold primary responsibility for the <b>safe, accurate, and compliant delivery of pharmacy services</b>, while supporting and supervising technical staff.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Overseeing all prescription dispensing activities in compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations</li>
<li>Supervise the staff in the pharmacy.</li>
<li>Providing patient counseling, clinical documentation, and pharmaceutical care as required</li>
<li>Supervising and coordinating pharmacy technicians and workflow across production, order entry, and distribution</li>
<li>Supporting sterile and non‑sterile compounding activities, including IV admixtures (e.g., antibiotics, TPN), as workload requires</li>
<li>Ensuring all SOPs, policies, and quality standards are consistently followed</li>
<li>Establishing, maintaining, and validating quality assurance procedures and documentation</li>
<li>Monitoring equipment, materials, and processes and recommending improvements where appropriate</li>
<li>Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication‑related questions</li>
<li>Participating in clinical initiatives and quality improvement programs</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy</b> required</li>
<li><b>Licensed and in good standing</b> with the College of Pharmacists of Ontario required</li>
<li>Hands‑on clinical or homecare <b>pharmacy experience</b> is an asset</li>
<li>IV admixture or sterile compounding experience is an asset
</li><li>Hospital or outpatient pharmacy background is an asset</li>
<li>Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset</li>
<li>Injection certification is an asset</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities</li>
<li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and telephone)</li>
<li>Professional judgment and confidence in a regulated environment</li>
<li>Comfortable working collaboratively across clinical and operational teams</li>
<li>Solid computer skills and adaptability to pharmacy systems</li>
</ul>
