Are you a driven Project Coordinator looking to step into large‑scale, high‑rise residential development? Hays Construction & Development is partnering with one of Halifax’s most active urban developers to add a strong coordinator to their growing team.
This is an opportunity to work on major multi‑residential towers, contribute directly to project delivery, and grow alongside senior leaders who value collaboration, learning, and craftsmanship.
Your new role
Your day-to-day role in this high profile firm will be to support full project lifecycle from design development to closeout. You will be involved in permitting, budgeting, take‑offs, cost estimating & contract admin as well as coordinating drawings, RFIs, submittals, and consultant communication.
In addition, you will be charged with tracking progress draws, schedules, QA/QC programs & safety workflows, working closely with Project Managers, Site teams & internal stakeholders with the benefit of frequent site exposure on high‑rise developments shaping Halifax’s skyline.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this very important job, you should have at least 3–5 years of previous practical and progressive experience, ideally in high rise or mid-rise construction, as well as a Diploma or degree in construction, engineering, or architecture.
Strong organizational, communication & problem‑solving skills, the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, design‑build environment and a team‑first mindset and passion for building great communities.
