Role Description This is a part-time, remote Project Manager role responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that support Canada Snowboard’s programs and operations. The Project Manager will oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and risks are identified and addressed early. Daily tasks include coordinating with internal teams and external partners, organizing and leading virtual meetings, tracking progress against project plans, and preparing clear status reports and documentation. The role also involves managing logistics related to events or initiatives, expediting critical tasks or materials, and supporting inspection or quality checks where needed to meet organizational standards. The person in this role will continuously improve project processes, help align activities with strategic goals, and support a collaborative, solutions-focused work culture.
Qualifications
- Project coordination and leadership skills, including Project Management experience with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure critical tasks, information, and materials move efficiently across teams and partners.
- Logistics Management skills to support planning and execution of events, programs, and operational activities.
- Inspection and quality-focused skills to help verify that project outputs meet defined standards and requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital tools for remote work (e.g., project management software, online collaboration platforms, video conferencing).
- Relevant education or training in project management, sport management, business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in sport, non-profit, or event-based environments is an asset, as is familiarity with high-performance or community sport systems.
