Quality Coordinator – Building Construction
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator will conduct field inspections, trade coordination, and maintain high quality standards across all building scopes.<br/><br/>This position will work on a 14/7 rotation basis on a project site in Saskatchewan.<br/><br/>What You Will Be Working On<br/><br/>Conduct quality inspections for structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical building activities.<br/><br/>Implement and maintain project‑specific Quality Plans and ITPs.<br/><br/>Work with project teams and subcontractors to identify, track, and resolve quality issues.<br/><br/>Manage NCRs, CARs, and audit findings.<br/><br/>Interpret drawings and specifications to support field crews.<br/><br/>Coordinate RFIs and technical queries with engineering.<br/><br/>Audit subcontractor quality systems and documentation.<br/><br/>Perform additional duties as required to support project success.<br/><br/>What We Are Looking For<br/><br/>Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.<br/><br/>5+ years of building construction experience.<br/><br/>Strong QA/QC background in construction.<br/><br/>Solid understanding of Building Code requirements.<br/><br/>Proficient with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.<br/><br/>Strong communication, organization, and field‑coordination skills.<br/><br/>Bird is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
