Rally Product support – Amaris Consulting

We are looking for an experienced mid-level to senior engineer who can efficiently manage Python scripting and has ideally worked with REST APIs. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background in scripting, integration workflow automation, and data synchronization between Jira Cloud and Rally via ConnectAll integration. This role requires sharp problem-solving skills and proven automation expertise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automate and configure workflows and data synchronization jobs between Rally and Jira.
• Develop scripts to extract data across various IT systems (PPM+, ServiceNow) and generate reports as needed. Ensure uptime of IT systems including performance, reliability, and scalability of the Rally product.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to integration between Rally and Jira.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to onboard business squads/fleets to Rally.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to interact with them programmatically.
• Experience with API integration between IT systems where APIs are available.
• Experience working with JSON and other data formats for API communication.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with Rally, Jira, and ConnectAll for data synchronization and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working with Agile teams in Atlassian Jira.

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of SDLC and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI).
