About the Role

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded Vancouver law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their busy and collaborative Real Estate practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing files independently and working on a mix of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

The successful candidate will bring strong conveyancing experience and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential and commercial real estate files from start to finish
  • Handle residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
  • Prepare loan and security documentation
  • Conduct title and off-title due diligence searches, including pre- and post-registration searches
  • Review and process purchase and sale agreements, deposits, and payouts
  • Prepare trust documentation and manage trust transactions
  • Draft and assist with easements, covenants, and statutory rights of way
  • Prepare mortgage discharges and reporting letters
  • Coordinate and manage transaction closings
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, realtors, and other stakeholders
  • Provide general support to the real estate practice group

Qualifications & Experience

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate within a Canadian law firm
  • Strong working knowledge of conveyancing processes and real estate transactions
  • Experience with BC Online and myLTSA
  • Advanced proficiency with NetDocs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Adobe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
