They are seeking a <strong>Regional Sales Manager</strong> with direct industry experience in <strong>loading dock equipment</strong> and <strong>warehouse solutions</strong> to join their sales team.</p><p>This is a remote role, with the expectation of travel for client meetings and industry events. A typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking an <strong>experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager</strong> with a deep understanding of industrial equipment and heavy machinery to lead and support our sales team across Canada. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry expertise, a strategic sales mindset, and leadership skills to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.</p><p>This role requires extensive knowledge of <strong>industrial and heavy equipment sales</strong>, along with the ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers in industries such as <strong>construction, manufacturing, and warehousing</strong>.</p><p><strong>Advantages</strong></p><ul><li>$140,000 to $160,000 starting salary based on experience</li><li>Remote position with some travel for client meetings</li><li>Permanent role with a well-established global organization</li><li>Opportunity for advancement and career growth</li><li>Fantastic team of people that you get to work with</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Leadership & Team Development</strong>:</p><ul><li>Partner with HR to recruit, train, and retain top talent, building a high-performing and collaborative team.</li><li>Motivate and empower employees by promoting autonomy and accountability, effectively communicating goals, and providing constructive feedback.</li><li>Foster a continuous improvement culture through coaching, cross-training, and professional development.</li></ul><p><strong>Strategic Sales Management</strong>:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement annual business plans, sales goals, and budgets to achieve company growth objectives.</li><li>Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing to design and execute targeted campaigns that resonate with commercial audiences.</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Excellence</strong>:</p><ul><li>Supervise the preparation of preliminary quotes, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project feasibility.</li><li>Partner with installation and operations teams to guarantee seamless project execution from sale to delivery.</li><li>Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and resolve quality concerns promptly.</li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring a superior customer experience.</li><li>Act as a liaison for key accounts, supporting collections and resolution of quality or service issues.</li><li>Expand the company’s market share by driving sales of existing products and contributing insights for new product development.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within a service or engineering environment.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with direct industry experience.</li><li>Must live in Southern Ontario</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and deliver presentations.</li><li>Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, solve problems, and make informed decisions.</li><li>A diploma or equivalent in Business Management or a related field.</li></ul>
