Overview:
The SAP Plan Product Owner (TPO) is responsible for driving the delivery, enhancement, and optimization of SAP S/4 Planning capabilities. This role combines product strategy, SAP expertise, and Agile execution to improve production planning, materials management, and business insights through reporting and analytics.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong SAP PP (Production Planning) experience with proven implementation of MRP Live
- SAP MM (Materials Management) experience
- Strong exposure to Reporting & Analytics (SAP Embedded Analytics, BW, SAC preferred)
Product & Technical Skills:
- Experience in product ownership and Agile delivery
- Strong backlog management and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to translate business needs into solutions
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle ambiguity
- User-focused approach with ability to influence teams
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in Technology, IT, or Product Management
- 8+ years in SAP ERP with a focus on Planning (PP/MM)
- Agile/Scrum experience

Product Vision & Planning:
- Define Planning (Plan) product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Translate planning and supply chain needs into actionable product features and KPIs
- Identify opportunities leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics
Solution Delivery & Execution:
- Partner with engineering teams for high-quality, on-time delivery
- Manage backlog, user stories, and sprint execution
- Ensure successful implementation of MRP Live and planning solutions
- Resolve blockers and ensure alignment across teams
Agile Execution & Team Enablement:
- Drive Agile practices and continuous improvement
- Lead ceremonies and track team performance
Stakeholder Collaboration & Discovery:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and priorities
- Conduct discovery and process analysis
- Manage expectations on feasibility and delivery
Digital Innovation & Enablement:
- Promote AI, automation, and digital solutions
- Support solution design and effort estimation
