Elevate your career as a Senior Backend Engineer with PosiTrace in Burnaby, BC. This on-site role emphasizes .NET 8, Python, and the transition to MACH architecture.<br/><br/>As a key player in our engineering team, you will drive the transition towards microservices while enhancing backend services with .NET and Python. Your experience in system design, API contracts, and data flows will be crucial in reshaping our existing Rails application into a modern, flexible architecture. Collaborate directly with DevOps and QA teams to ensure high-quality, test-driven development within our multi-service SaaS platform.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain backend services in .NET 8 and Python
• Design microservice boundaries and data flow processes
• Collaborate on GPS telemetry and reporting engine enhancements
• Write, review, and enforce quality test-driven code
• Deploy via BitBucket Pipelines and Docker<br/><br/>Requirements:
• Experience with .NET 8 and Python production environments
• Strong MySQL skills for high-volume workloads
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and asynchronous job processing
• Knowledge of Git/GitFlow workflow
