Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise systems transformation within a complex operations environment. This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga, requiring 2–3 days onsite per week, with potential travel to the US for project kickoff.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in assessing current-state processes, defining future-state requirements, and supporting a multi-year system modernization initiative. This individual will be responsible for producing high-quality business and functional requirements that enable development teams to estimate, design, and deliver new capabilities across multiple platforms.

This role involves decomposing complex business capabilities into structured user stories, writing detailed acceptance criteria, and maintaining a centralized backlog that supports estimation and delivery across multiple teams. The Senior Business Analyst will facilitate working sessions and estimation workshops with both business and technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge between end users, architects, and engineering teams to drive alignment and clarity.

The position also requires strong process and data analysis capabilities, including documenting current-state workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and creating end-to-end process flow diagrams and data models. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with solution architects to align requirements with target-state designs, integration strategies, and enterprise architecture standards.

Additionally, this role will involve producing structured documentation such as requirements backlogs, process and data flow diagrams, and supporting materials for executive review. Maintaining high-quality, consistent, and traceable documentation will be critical to success in this role.
