Senior Compensation Advisor
24-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000

Our client, a leading Canadian employer, is seeking a Senior Compensation Advisor to drive key total rewards initiatives and enhance their employee experience. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, management, and execution of compensation programs across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on pay strategies, salary structures, and total rewards programs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with HR leadership and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Leading the annual salary review and performance-based incentive processes, including budgeting, communication, and system updates.
- Conducting job evaluations, market benchmarking, and pay equity analyses to support fair and consistent pay practices.
- Supporting executive compensation planning, including research, reporting, and recommendations.
- Leading or contributing to special projects related to compensation, incentives, or total rewards initiatives.
- Preparing clear and actionable reports for leadership, enabling informed decisions on compensation strategy, pay philosophy, and total rewards programs.
- Designing and delivering training or workshops to enhance the organization’s understanding of compensation programs.
- Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compensation and total rewards.
Who You Are
- A university degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; CCP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards, with exposure to HRIS and analytical reporting.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, including data modeling, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Experience with a variety of compensation disciplines: base pay, incentives, executive compensation, job evaluation, and pay equity.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and able to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
