Senior Consultant, AI & Data Practice

We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our AI & Data practice team. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical background and hands‑on experience with Data Bricks, Pursuits, proposal and delivery.

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand use cases and key business processes that the AI solutions will support.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, architects, engineers to translate requirements into robust AI solutions integrating with the client’s technology stack.
  • Continuously learn, experiment, and test new AI tools, platforms, technologies, and techniques.
  • Create comprehensive test plans for AI‑based applications, covering functional, performance, security, and ethical considerations.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud‑based AI services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions, including at least 1 year of AI/ML testing experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Must live in Ottawa or be willing to relocate.
  • Eligible for federal security clearance (screening for eligibility will be conducted during the hiring process).

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks for AI systems, including bias testing, performance testing, and security testing.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and AI frameworks.
  • Experience with testing tools such as DeepChecks, or similar AI‑focused.
  • Experience in API integration and development.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

  • Toronto: 90,500 to $136,000.
