Our expertise and tact have earned us the trust of many businesses and family-owned companies contributing to the Quebec economy and beyond.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Your Role at Altero</b></p><p>You will be a trusted advisor to clients, developing strategies that enable them to steer their changes in the right direction, while guiding and supporting our team of consultants. You will also support our practice and business development by creating new tools, preparing proposals, and leading client presentations.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Mergers, Acquisitions, & Integrations</b></p><ul><li><b>Cultural and Human Due Diligence: </b>Assess the cultural and human aspects of transactions to identify integration opportunities and challenges.<b> </b></li><li><b>Integration: </b>Set up governance structures, develop and execute comprehensive harmonization plans (processes, teams, structures) aligned with strategic objectives.</li><li><b>Change Management: </b>Apply change management best practices to ensure a smooth transition, while providing metrics and ongoing project management support.</li><li><b>Communication Strategy: </b>Develop and implement relevant communication plans to announce changes, as well as gauge and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the transition.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Succession Planning, Takeovers, & Leadership Development</b></p><ul><li><b>Talent Evaluation and Development: </b>Conduct comprehensive talent reviews, including psychometric assessments, to identify strengths and needs in leadership skills.</li><li><b>Succession Planning: </b>Develop succession and professional development plans to prepare the next generation for their new roles.</li><li><b>Change Management: </b>Support internal and external stakeholders with effective change management practices, while aligning the organizational structure with transition objectives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Organizational Design</b></p><ul><li><b>Organizational Needs Assessment:</b> Assess current organizational structures and identify improvement opportunities to optimize processes and overall performance.</li><li><b>Organizational Design: </b>Propose innovative organizational models tailored to specific client needs.</li><li><b>Change Management: </b>Support clients in the implementation of new organizational structures, facilitating the change process and ensuring successful adoption by teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Supporting Family Businesses</b></p><ul><li><b>Continuity: </b>Develop strategies to ensure a smooth transition between generations, aligning family members personal aspirations with corporate objectives.</li><li><b>Transition Support: </b>Support family members and non-family managers in their transitions through key roles in operating companies.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Graduate degree in management, business administration, organizational development or related field, with certification in change management.</li><li>Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in organizational development and change management or in a relevant field.</li><li>Consulting experience with a solid track record of managing complex mandates, leading projects, and delivering high quality results.</li><li>Expertise in client relationship management and ability to build lasting relationships.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at the executive level.</li><li>Strong ability to conceptualize information, rigor, curiosity, discernment, and critical thinking.</li><li>Fluency in written and spoken French and English required to work in bilingual business environments with sometimes unilingual English mandates.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What Altero Can Offer You</b></p><p>We believe that your professional ambitions and personal goals are both essential to your career fulfillment.
