Rate: $40-42/hr T4, $50/hr INC

Your New Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable data pipelines that organize, transform, and optimize billions of rows of data to support analytics and business decision-making.
Working within a modern GCP ecosystem, you will leverage technologies such as BigQuery and Python to develop efficient data solutions that power dashboards, reporting, and advanced analytics. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and data analysts, translating requirements into robust data models, tables, and views that ensure accuracy, performance, and usability.
This is a highly hands-on role within a fast-paced environment where your work will directly impact customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term strategy. You’ll also contribute to advancing data quality, governance, and automation practices across the organization.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Must-Haves:
- Strong experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Advanced SQL and Python expertise for data transformation and engineering
- Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP (Dataflow, Pub/Sub)
- Proven ability to build and optimize data models, tables, and views for analytics use cases
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with PySpark, Airflow, or modern orchestration frameworks
- Exposure to Vertex AI or applied AI/ML use cases
- Experience with Iceberg, StarRocks, or modern data lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with clickstream data and customer analytics
- Retail or eCommerce domain experience
