Location: Peterborough, Whitby, Kingston, Barrie, or Ottawa.
Salary: $110,000 – $135,000

Skyline Recruitment is currently working with a well-established environmental and engineering consulting firm in Ontario to identify an experienced Senior Project Manager / Hydrogeologist.
This is a strong opportunity for a senior hydrogeology or environmental consulting professional who enjoys a mix of technical leadership, project management, client interaction, mentorship, and business development.
The role can be based from one of several Ontario offices, offering flexibility depending on the candidate’s location and overall fit.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will manage and deliver a range of hydrogeology and environmental projects across Ontario. This may include groundwater investigations, land development support, water supply assessments, environmental site assessments, monitoring programs, regulatory submissions, and related technical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hydrogeology and environmental projects from proposal through to completion
- Lead groundwater investigations, field programs, data interpretation, and technical reporting
- Support land development, municipal, private sector, and infrastructure-related projects
- Prepare and review proposals, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, regulators, and internal project teams
- Mentor and support junior and intermediate staff
- Contribute to business development and long-term client relationship management
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of relevant experience in hydrogeology, environmental consulting, or a related field
- Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- P.Geo. or P.Eng. designation, or eligibility for registration in Ontario
- Strong project management experience, including budgets, timelines, clients, and technical teams
- Familiarity with Ontario regulations, groundwater investigations, environmental assessments, land development, and groundwater-related work
- Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills
- Experience mentoring staff and supporting team development
- A practical, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach
