We are Systematix and we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to support our client’s Mergers & Acquisitions initiatives.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client, a global enterprise organization, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support a large-scale Mergers & Acquisitions integration program focused on Identity and Collaboration Services. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate critical workstreams associated with integrating newly acquired organizations into the enterprise technology and security ecosystem.
This role will focus heavily on Identity and Access Management (IAM), collaboration platforms, directory services, user onboarding and migration activities, security alignment, and enterprise infrastructure coordination across multiple business and technology teams.
The environment is highly matrixed, fast-paced, and globally distributed, requiring a strong enterprise PM capable of driving cross-functional execution, managing complex dependencies, and maintaining alignment across diverse stakeholder groups during post-acquisition integration activities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced IT Project Manager with prior M&A integration experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to comfortably navigate technical discussions related to identity services, collaboration technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead enterprise IT integration workstreams associated with mergers, and acquisitions
- Manage Identity and Access Management integration activities including Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, MFA, provisioning, access governance, and identity lifecycle coordination
- Coordinate collaboration platform integration efforts including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related enterprise productivity technologies
- Drive project execution across infrastructure, security, networking, application, and end-user computing teams
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, dependency tracking, executive reporting, and integration roadmaps
- Coordinate onboarding and migration activities for acquired users, systems, and business units into enterprise environments
- Facilitate meetings across technical, operational, cybersecurity, legal, compliance and business stakeholder groups
- Identify and manage integration risks, security considerations, operational impacts, and cross-functional dependencies
- Support governance and alignment activities across multiple operating companies and business units
- Manage vendor coordination and third-party integration activities where required
- Communicate technical and non-technical updates clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
- Ensure projects maintain momentum, accountability, and alignment with aggressive M&A integration timelines
- Assist in driving standardization, process consistency, and operational readiness throughout integration initiatives
ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS
- 8+ years of enterprise IT Project Management experience
- Strong experience leading complex M&A integration programs within large enterprise environments
- Experience managing Identity and Access Management related projects and technologies
- Strong understanding of enterprise identity concepts including Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, MFA, RBAC, provisioning, federation, and access governance
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration and productivity platform integrations including Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional programs involving infrastructure, security, networking, and business operations teams
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Experience building and managing detailed project plans, roadmaps, dashboards and status reporting
- Ability to comfortably participate in technical infrastructure and security discussions with architects, engineers, and operational teams
- Experience managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity in fast-moving enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT operational processes and governance structures
- Strong proficiency with enterprise PM and collaboration tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience supporting global organizations with multiple business units or operating companies is strongly preferred
- PMP certification is considered an asset
- Experience within regulated, manufacturing, healthcare, or life sciences environments is considered an asset
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a remote contract opportunity supporting a large-scale enterprise M&A integration program. Candidates should be comfortable working within Eastern Time business hours and operating within a fast-paced, highly collaborative global environment.
